For the high-energy atmosphere of ComplexCon, TCB Production was tasked with fabricating a standout environment for the collaboration between Machine Gun Kelly and Ed Hardy to feature their new apparel line. The vision was clear: a fully immersive Retro Americana Diner. This project presented a dual challenge: a strict “rush” timeline and a fixed budget that required strategic adjustments. Our team went to work immediately, balancing creativity with practicality. We engineered the booth to capture the authentic, nostalgic diner aesthetic while making critical fabrication modifications to align with the client’s budget. Despite these adjustments, we refused to compromise on quality or visual impact. The result was a seamless, high-end build that looked exactly as the client envisioned, delivered without breaking the bank or missing the deadline. Our comprehensive scope included:
Smart Engineering: We adapted the initial design to maximize cost-efficiency without sacrificing the “awesome aesthetic” or structural integrity.
Custom Fabrication: Built the retro diner elements from scratch to ensure a unique, photo-worthy environment.
Full Logistics: Managed the transport of the booth to the event, executed a flawless installation, and handled the final dismantle.
This project proves that with the right partner, budget constraints don’t have to limit creative impact.
